Ingredients
1 Porterhouse Steak
2-3 small potatoes,
Small bunch of Asparagus
Pinch of Salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Teaspoon of Butter
Chopped parsley
Preparation
Boil a saucepan, add a pinch of salt and place the potatoes in the boiling water. They are cooked when you can insert a fork into them easily. Serve the potatoes tossed in the butter and parsley.
Heat the oil in a non stick-frying pan (or on the BBQ). Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, for medium, or longer, according to personal taste. Remove the steak from the pan and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
Using the same pan (or the BBQ) that the steak was cooked in, fry off the asparagus quickly to leave them crunchy or leave for a bit longer to soften them up.
I have served the steak here with gravy but as it is marinated you can leave it plain.
