1kg Mick's Meat Barn Beef Brisket
1 Ciabatta or bread roll of choice
1 tbsp Beer Flavoured Dijon Mustard
400g pkt American BBQ Slaw Kit
3 Monterey Jack Cheese Slices
American Style BBQ Sauce
Step 1 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the brisket in an ovenproof casserole dish. Cover with foil. Bake for 15 mins. Remove the foil and bake for a further 10 mins or until heated through. Set aside to cool.
Step 2 - Meanwhile, heat a barbecue grill or chargrill on high. Toast the bread, cut-side down, for 1-2 mins. Spread with the mustard. Prepare the salad kit in a large bowl following packet directions.
Step 3 - Use 2 forks to shred the beef. Add the BBQ sauce and stir to combine. Top the bread base with the slaw, beef mixture and cheese. Season and add the bread top. Cut in 1/2 to serve. Enjoy!
