Seared Ham with Homemade Baked Beans

Ingredients (Baked Beans):
2 tsp Olive Oil
3 Rashers Bacon, chopped
1 Small Brown Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Can (400g) Diced Tomatoes
2 tsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 Cans (400g) Borlotti Beans, drained, rinsed
4 English Muffins
2 tbsp Parsley, roughly chopped
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Ingredients (Sides):
Seared Christmas Ham Steaks
Mick's Pre-War Sausages
Portobello Mushrooms
Large Vine Tomatoes, sliced into thirds

Method (Baked Beans):
Step One - In a frying pan over a medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the bacon and cook for 5 minutes or until crispy. Remove bacon from pan using a slotted spoon and set aside.
Step Two - Place the onion into the frying pan. Stir and cook until tender and light golden. Add the garlic and paprika. Cook for one to two minutes.
Step Three - Return the bacon to pan. Add to the pan the tomatoes, sugar, tomato paste and beans. Cook, stirring, until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
Step Four - On a warm, oiled BBQ grill, slowly cook the sausages before grilling the ham, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Step Five - Split muffins and toast. Place on serving plates. Spoon over baked beans. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with seared ham, mushrooms, tomatoes and Mick's Meat Barns Pre-War Sausages.
