Angus Rump Steak with Creamy Mushroom Sauce


250 grams Mushrooms, sliced
1 clove Garlic, minced
4 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
1/4 cup Beef Stock
1/2 cup Water
Salt & Pepper, to taste
3/4 cup Cream
1/2 teaspoon Dry Thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Pepper 


Step One - Sauté mushrooms and garlic in 2 tablespoons butter in a pan over medium heat until tender and set aside.
Step Two - Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in the pan, stirring in flour to make a smooth paste. Combine the stock and water; slowly addding it into the paste. Once combined simmer for 2 minutes before adding the salt, pepper and thyme. 
Step Three - Stir the cream to the paste, before adding in the mushrooms and garlic. Allow to simmer and thicken.
Step Four - In a separate pan (or on the BBQ) cook the Angus Steak to taste. Plate and serve.
Serving Suggestion: Team the Angus Steak and Creamy Mushroom Sauce with Jacket Potatos, Asparagus and Beans.
