Retail Manager for Butcher Shop
 
We are a large quality shop on the Sunshine Coast that has been under the same ownership for more than 20 years. We require a manager to work closely with the Owners of the business to help expand the retail offering.
 
We are known for our progressive ideas and have won numerous awards both within and outside of the industry.
 
Ideally the enthusiastic and energetic applicant will have a minimum of 10 years experience as a qualified tradesman and be meticulous with their attention to detail.
 
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
 
Preparation and production of quality fresh meat products to company specified guidelines within reasonable timeframes.
 
Creating and maintain a team environment through effective staff management.
 
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in relation to workspace and products.
 
Adhere to company policies and Q-Safe procedures in relation to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers and staff 
           
To be considered for this position you need to be able to;
-           Break a carcase into primal cuts
-           Portray a positive attitude
-           Communicate effectively with customers and staff
-           Work in a fast-paced team environment
-           Train, mentor and supervise apprentices and staff
-           Abide by company policies and procedures at all times including company dress standards
